The EVL87220-2PHASE-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP87220, a monolithic half-bridge Intelli Phase^TM solution with built-in internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. The evaluation board can deliver up to 40A of continuous load current across a wide input supply voltage (V_IN) range.

Quiet Switcher^TM Technology (QST^TM) utilizes a proprietary circuit design, achievable only in monolithic architecture, to suppress voltage ringing. This technology limits peak switching voltages, improving device reliability, lowering EMI emissions, and reducing sensitivity to PCB layout.  

The MP87220 offers many features to simplify system design. It works with controllers such as the MP2985B with a tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal. It comes with accurate current-sensing to monitor the inductor current (I_L), and temperature-sensing to report the junction temperature (T_J).

The MP87220 is ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are at a premium. The MP87220 is available in a TLGA-30 (4mmx5mm) package.
