AI humanoid robots mimic human-like movements and interactions, with complex functions including decision-making based on sensor data, manipulating objects, navigating physical environments, and adapting using machine learning algorithms. These functions are based on advanced AI algorithms that require substantial computational power. As a result, AI humanoid robotics designers must prioritize thermal and power consumption management to prevent safety risks, damage to components, and reduced system reliability.
The MPQ86750 Intelli-PhaseTM solution combined with the MPQ2967 provides high-efficiency power management for AI humanoid robotics system-on-chip (SoC) platforms, achieving improved reliability, compact size, and simplified design.
The MPQ86750 is a monolithic, half-bridge Intelli-PhaseTM solution with built-in, internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. The integrated MOSFETs and gate drivers achieve high efficiency through an optimized dead time (DT) and reduced parasitic inductance. The MPQ86750 is available in an LGA-38 (5mmx6mm) package.

The MPQ2967 is a digital, dual-rail, multi-phase controller that can work with the MPQ86750 to complete a multi-phase voltage regulator (VR) solution with minimal external components. It provides temperature monitoring and various protections, including under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), over-current protection (OCP), over-temperature protection (OTP), and reverse-voltage protection (RVP). The MPQ2967 is available in a TQFN-40 (6mmx6mm) package.
