The MP1641 is a monolithic, step-down switch-mode converter with built-in internal power MOSFETs. The MP1641 achieves 1A of continuous output current (I_OUT) from a 2.4V to 6V input voltage (V_IN) range with excellent load and line regulation. The output voltage (V_OUT) can be regulated to as low as 0.6V.

The constant-on-time (COT) control scheme provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Fault protections include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.

The MP1641 is ideal for a wide range of applications, including high-performance digital signal processors (DSPs), wireless power, portable and mobile devices, and other low-power systems.

The MP1641 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard, external components and is available in an ultra-small SOT563 (1.6mmx1.6mm) package.
